Allistar Banks is a multi-genre author of several books ranging from children to young adult fiction. Her book The Pursuit of Love & Hope A Short Collection of Poems has been recognized in The Infinite Power of You Book Club. Her books have been on several multimedia platforms and is now recognized to be on the CBS Sunday Morning Show for her children's book A Colorful Balloon Ride. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Lander University. A McCormick, SC native, she is a lover of southern cuisine, the mountains, local art, and history.
